Students of the 2023-2024 session can apply as regular candidates. Irregular and grade improvement candidates from older sessions can also apply.

The schedule for the form fill-up is fixed. You must follow every deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Online form fill-up: 05 July 2026 (Sunday) to 28 July 2026 (Tuesday)
- Data entry confirmation by college: 29 July 2026 to 30 July 2026 (until 11:59 PM)
- Fee payment through Sonali Seba: 02 August 2026 to 03 August 2026 (until 4:00 PM)
- Document preservation: Colleges must keep the descriptive forms for at least 1 year after result publication
Who Can Apply for the NU Honours 2nd Year Exam Form Fill up 2026
The notice clearly explains the four types of candidates.
Regular candidates: Students of the 2023-2024 session who were promoted after the 2024 Honours 1st Year exam.
Irregular candidates: Students from the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 sessions who were Not Promoted or did not appear in earlier exams. They will only sit for their failed (F-grade) courses.
Grade improvement candidates: Students from 2024 who were promoted but received C, C+, or D grades. They can improve a maximum of 2 theory courses. Students from 2017-2018 to 2021-2022 sessions with F-grade courses can also reappear.
Special inclusion candidates: Students from the 2017-2018 session can apply one last time by paying a special fee.
NU Honours 2nd Year Form Fill up 2026 Fee Structure
Knowing the fees in advance helps you avoid confusion. Here is the official fee list.
- Theory (per full paper): ৳300
- Theory (per half paper): ৳250
- Practical (per course): ৳250
- Incourse exam fee: ৳450 (University ৳150 + College ৳300)
- Centre fee (theory): ৳450 (College ৳150 + Centre ৳300)
- Practical centre fee: ৳175
- Grade improvement fee: ৳600
- Special inclusion fee: ৳5000
- C Promoted special inclusion fee: ৳1500 (extra)
Old session students (2017-2018) must pay a total of ৳5000 as a one-time fee.
How to Complete the Online Form Fill up
Follow these simple steps to apply.
- Visit the official website: http://ems.nu.ac.bd/student-login
- Enter your registration number to log in.
- Fill in the correct subject codes, including practical subjects.
- Download the application form.
- Print the form on A4 paper.
- Attach one recent passport-size photo (attested).
- Submit the printed copy to your college within the deadline.
Always double-check your subject codes. Wrong codes are the student’s responsibility, not the university’s.
How to Pay the Fee through Sonali Seba
The university uses the Sonali Seba system for fee collection.
- Download the Pay Slip from http://ems.nu.ac.bd or http://www.nu.ac.bd/online-form-fill-up.php.
- Print the Pay Slip with the total amount and account details.
- Pay at any nearby Sonali Bank branch.
- Collect the deposit receipt before the last date.
The “Link Active” period for payment is 02 August 2026 (4:00 PM) to 03 August 2026. Pay only through Sonali Seba. Payments made through other channels will not be accepted.
Tips for College Authorities
Colleges play a key role in the form fill-up. The notice mentions clear duties for them.
- Confirm the data entry of each student online.
- The Departmental Head and Principal must sign every printed form.
- Issue the admit card only after photo verification.
- Send Incourse marks online before the deadline. Without Incourse marks, a student’s name will not appear in the probable list.
Practical Exam and Result
The practical exam date and time will be announced on the NU website after the theory exam ends. The final result will be published in the grading system.
