Who Can Apply?

For Irregular Students: Students from the 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2020–21 academic years can also apply. They must have been privately registered in 2019, 2020, or 2021 and must have appeared in at least the 2nd year exam before. Students from 2021, 2022, and 2023 sessions who already appeared in the 3rd year exam can also re-apply.
For Certificate Course (200 Marks): Students from 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 sessions who are privately registered can apply for the Certificate Course 3rd year exam.
Exam Fees for NU Degree 3rd Year Form Fill Up 2026
The fee structure depends on your exam type. Here is a simple breakdown:
- Regular/Private: Approx. 150/- (base) + In-course fee 450/- + Transcript 500/- + Certificate 500/-. Total around 1,600/- for colleges.
- Irregular: Approx. 150/- (base) + In-course fee 450/-. If you skipped the previous exam, the in-course fee is 450/- and the college total is around 600/-.
- Certificate Course: Approx. 150/- (base) + In-course fee 450/- + Transcript 500/-. If you skipped the previous exam, the total is around 600/-.
- Grade Improvement: Approx. 150/- (base) + extra 600/- per student.
- Conditional Promoted (C-Promoted): Approx. 150/- (base) + extra fee of 1,500/- per student.
- Practical Fee: 500/- per paper/course for university students.
- Centre Fee (3rd): 450/- per college, and 150/- per exam centre. Total is around 600/-.
- Centre Fee (Practical): 175/- per college. Colleges with practical exams must pay this.
How to Fill Up the Form Online
Follow these steps carefully:
- Go to the EMS website at ems.nu.ac.bd/student-login.
- Log in using your registration number and password.
- Fill in the required information in the application form.
- Check all your details carefully. If something is wrong, cancel and re-enter.
- Download the application form after submission.
- Take two printed copies of the passport-size photo page.
- Submit the printed form to your college.
If you cannot find the “Department User” option, ask your college admin to create it from the College User Login.
Important Rules to Follow
There are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Your application form will not be saved if there is any error. Double-check everything before submitting.
- The registration card must mention all the subjects you are appearing for.
- Students from the 2017–2018 session who did not register before cannot apply anymore. This is the final chance for many older session students.
- If you have already passed with a low grade (D grade), you can sit for a grade improvement exam. The maximum grade you can get is C+ or C.
Centre Fee and Pay Slip
